Limits and plan capabilities
Separate Team limits from League allowances, and verify what your League actually has.
Independent Teams
| Limit | Current value |
|---|---|
| Members in one Team, including Captain | 25 |
| Live Teams captained by one User | 5 |
| Team name | Up to 35 characters |
| Optional Team tag | 2–8 letters or digits |
| Team invitation lifetime | 7 days |
These are independent-Team limits. They do not set the number of seats a League allows on each Roster.
League allowances
The standard game-server allowances are 1 on Free, 5 on Pro, 25 on Ultimate, and unlimited on Enterprise. A League can have an explicit entitlement override, so use Game servers (configured/maximum) in management and the League's billing/plan view for its effective allowance.
Other capabilities—including tournament formats and field sizes, exports, draft tools, history depth, and enhanced-stat displays—depend on the plan. Use Heir pricing and the actual controls shown for your League rather than copying another League's limits.
Tournament limits
| Plan | Tournament field | Formats | Active tournaments |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Up to 16 | Single elimination at 4, 8, or 16 participants | 1 |
| Pro | Up to 32 | All supported formats, including groups and double elimination | 1 |
| Ultimate | Up to 64 | All supported formats | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | Plan limit is unlimited | All supported formats | Unlimited |
The competition engine has a hard safety ceiling of 512 participants and 20,000 generated matches, even when an entitlement is unlimited. A League-specific entitlement override can change an effective limit, so the creation screen and its validation message are authoritative. Advanced stages can also fail validation when their field, qualification count, or match budget cannot produce a valid next stage.
Game-server constraints
Game-server labels are 1–32 lowercase letters, numbers, and dashes. The RCON port must be 1–65,535, and a new connection needs a public host and password. Tracking configuration accepts expected team size and minimum players per side from 1–64; the minimum cannot exceed the expected size. See game-server setup for the workflow and tracking behavior for how those values affect recording.
Three different kinds of size
- Team capacity: how many Members belong to your independent Team.
- Roster size: how many seats that League allows the Team to fill. The default maximum is 10, and an Organizer can configure a lower League limit.
- Tracking minimum: how many observed players each game side needs before team-match recording begins.
Changing a tracking minimum does not add Roster seats or change a bound fixture's rules. Standalone duel/Deathmatch observation is a separate recording mode.
History versus retention
A plan's browsing window is not a promise that every kind of event is retained forever. Historical changelog entries describe behavior at release time; use current settings and references for today's rules. Exports and technical access are available only through supported, authorized product controls.
