Find the symptom, check the cause, and take the next useful action.
I cannot create or manage a Team
Confirm that you are signed in with the correct Discord account. Create a Team is on Your Teams; Manage Team is available to its Captain. The public Team page is not the management page. If you already captain five Teams, transfer or disband one before creating another.
My League does not appear when enrolling
Join the League with the same account, check for an existing open Enrollment, and ask an Organizer whether Enrollments are enabled. The current Team management picker lists your Leagues. See Enroll a Team.
A Member is Reserve or Blocked
Read the reason beside that Member. Do not remove and re-invite them repeatedly.

| Organizer block | Contact the League's Owner or Organizers. They can review and lift the block; changing Teams or Priority does not bypass it. |

A Player blocked for another Roster or a cooldown is not necessarily blocked by an Organizer. Follow the specific reason. Joining the League or lifting a block triggers normal eligibility checks; capacity and locks can still leave the player in reserve.
An Organizer cannot use staff settings
Organizer access is granted and removed by the League Owner in Heir, under Manage League. Adding the Discord Organizer role by hand grants nothing, and deleting that role removes nothing. If the Discord role is missing, Heir recreates it once its permissions allow; check Manage League → Discord for a reported mirror problem, and reapply any custom channel permissions the old role had. An urgent Discord permission alert will not clear
Opening or clearing ordinary notifications does not resolve an integration incident. Open Update bot permissions, authorize the intended Discord, then use Check again. Failed checks preserve the last-known issue. A League role alone does not grant Discord manager authority; ask a Discord manager to authorize if needed.

Discord Roster role changes are unavailable or failed
Open Manage League → Discord → Discord Roster roles and check whether the integration is paused. Manage Roles, View Audit Log, and sufficient role hierarchy are required. Ask a Discord manager to fix the reported permission, then refresh the preview.
Selecting Shared Roster role reveals optional cleanup. Roles under Must stay for now are protected because of their permissions, ownership, or channel dependencies. Kept roles retain their current access but stop syncing; deleted role IDs cannot be recovered. A new On a Team role needs one free slot before cleanup.
A failed change may have partially completed. Review the current status and choices before retrying. Follow Configure Discord Roster roles for the complete process.
My Enrollment is still pending
The request was submitted, but approval is separate. Contact the League's Organizers. For a claim, check outstanding Team invitations as well. If an approval preview changed, the Organizer must refresh and review it again.
Discord commands do not work
- Check that you are using the intended Heir bot and Discord.
- If a command is missing, ask a Discord manager to review Server Settings → Integrations → Heir → Commands and command permissions.
- If a command is visible but refused, read the response: Heir still checks League/Team roles and eligibility.
- Use Manage League → Discord and the connection diagnostics for installation, role position, scopes, and missing resources.
- If every slash command times out while join/role activity still appears, report that distinction to Heir support. Commands, announcements, and Team webhooks travel separate paths; an online bot alone does not prove commands are reaching Heir. See Discord commands and notifications.
Include the bot name, Discord, command name, approximate time, and the error message. Never post RCON passwords, bot tokens, or signing secrets in a support channel.
Game server is offline or stale
Check the public host, RCON port, password, firewall, and the game host's RCON settings. Authentication failure points to credentials; connection refusal or timeout points to the service or network path. A stale snapshot retains old metadata—use its timestamp. Repeatedly refreshing the browser cannot repair a stopped game server.
Stats are missing
Check the League and game, linked identity, selected reporting range, recording profile, allowed mode, per-side minimum, and approval status. A healthy connection can be idle. Combat totals are not inferred duel wins, and connected time is not match-participation time. Unknown or unobserved data is not zero.
If a live match is visible while the game server says TRACKING, classification may still be pending until a game ends. VERIFYING describes unresolved mode detection, not a one-minute countdown.
If Team calendar actions say scrimmages are unavailable or paused, that is what this Heir site currently offers — no League or Team setting turns them on. Agreements you already have keep whatever management actions Calendar still shows.
A save has not confirmed
Keep the pending action's status. A delayed confirmation is not proof that the action failed; it may already have applied. Refresh the relevant view before submitting a duplicate. Report the command/status reference if Heir supplies one.
