Withdraw from a League
End one Enrollment while understanding what happens to its Roster and history.
- Who this is for
- Team Captains, League Owners, and Organizers
- When you’re done
- The Enrollment ends; the confirmation determines what happens to the League Roster.
Withdrawing from a League does not disband your independent Team or withdraw it from other Leagues.
1. Open the Enrollment
- Captain: open Manage Team → Leagues, find the League, and choose Withdraw.
- Organizer: open Manage League → Rosters & enrollments and use the Enrollment's withdrawal action.
2. Read the consequences
| Enrollment | What remains |
|---|---|
| Pending legacy claim | The existing legacy Roster is unchanged and still needs conversion; invitations created by this claim are cancelled. It cannot compete without a Team Enrollment. |
| Pending new request | The request ends; no approved Roster exists yet. |
| Any approved Enrollment | The League Roster is archived and its live seats are released. Its Team link, match records, and League history are retained. This applies to both Captain and Organizer withdrawals, including adopted Rosters and Rosters with matches. |
An archived Roster is not an active standalone Roster. Existing fixtures are flagged for Organizer review, not silently deleted or forfeited. If the Team later enrolls again, its eligible Members can take seats through normal derivation; roster locks still apply.
Re-enrolling the same Team requires the usual approval and eligibility checks. Approval restores its archived League Roster and derives fresh seats without reopening old membership records.
3. Confirm and verify
Confirm only after checking the correct Team and League. Wait for success, then verify that the Enrollment is Ended and inspect the Roster link if one remains.
If an Enrollment is only temporarily paused, ask the Organizer whether Suspend is more appropriate. Do not withdraw merely to solve a missing identity or a reserve seat.
Next: Enroll somewhere else or manage your Team.
